Fabrication de peinture \u00e0 l'huile de lin<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Traditionnellement, les artistes et les d\u00e9corateurs fabriquaient leur propre peinture en m\u00e9langeant une p\u00e2te \u00e0 partir des pigments de leur choix et d’une base d’huile. Ils le faisaient \u00e0 l’aide d’outils manuels simples : juste une meule (un outil \u00e0 manche court pour broyer les pigments) et une plaque. Ils commen\u00e7aient par broyer les pigments en poudre avec un peu d’huile, puis ajoutaient plus d’huile au fur et \u00e0 mesure pour cr\u00e9er la bonne consistance. Les artistes utilisaient g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement moins d’huile dans leur peinture, tandis que les peintres en b\u00e2timent en utilisaient davantage afin de cr\u00e9er une peinture plus fine, plus adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 la peinture sur de grandes surfaces. <\/p>

Cette m\u00e9thode traditionnelle de m\u00e9lange \u00e0 la main \u00e9tait non seulement longue et laborieuse, mais il \u00e9tait \u00e9galement assez difficile d’obtenir un r\u00e9sultat uniforme \u00e0 chaque fois. Pour assurer la durabilit\u00e9 de la peinture, il est essentiel que l’huile de lin et les pigments soient parfaitement m\u00e9lang\u00e9s. Si la peinture n’est pas correctement m\u00e9lang\u00e9e, elle deviendra mate beaucoup plus rapidement, ce qui augmentera les besoins d’entretien. <\/p>

Pour obtenir les meilleurs r\u00e9sultats, le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 de fabrication de Brouns & Co utilise des m\u00e9langeurs \u00e0 colonne et de grands f\u00fbts. La peinture m\u00e9lang\u00e9e dans ces f\u00fbts est ensuite transf\u00e9r\u00e9e dans un broyeur \u00e0 trois rouleaux. Ici, la peinture, qui a \u00e0 ce stade une consistance plus p\u00e2teuse, passera entre les rouleaux entre trois et cinq fois, selon la granulom\u00e9trie des pigments utilis\u00e9s. Ce processus cr\u00e9e une consistance parfaitement homog\u00e8ne, qui constitue la base des couleurs de peinture finales. <\/p>

Il est toutefois important de noter que le m\u00e9lange doit rester \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature ambiante. Le frottement du m\u00e9tal sur le m\u00e9tal g\u00e9n\u00e8re une chaleur consid\u00e9rable et si l’huile devient trop chaude, elle se diluera, ce qui rendra plus difficile l’adh\u00e9rence du pigment. Cela signifie que le processus de broyage doit impliquer des mesures suppl\u00e9mentaires pour maintenir l’huile et la p\u00e2te \u00e0 la bonne temp\u00e9rature. Pour ce faire, on utilise des rouleaux dans lesquels circule en permanence de l’eau froide. <\/p>

En laissant de c\u00f4t\u00e9 les machines modernes et les techniques de refroidissement suppl\u00e9mentaires, la m\u00e9thode que nous utilisons aujourd’hui pour broyer les pigments dans de l’huile bouillie est en principe vieille de plusieurs centaines d’ann\u00e9es. En gardant cela \u00e0 l’esprit, vous pouvez commencer \u00e0 comprendre pourquoi la peinture \u00e0 l’huile de lin est plus ch\u00e8re \u00e0 produire que les m\u00e9thodes plus simples utilis\u00e9es pour produire la peinture plastique moderne. We conduct quarterly internal audits of our marketing and communications content to ensure references are accurate and up to date. Additionally, we undertake an annual review of all ‘static’ content\u2014such as website pages and key documents\u2014to ensure compliance with any updates to the Charter’s standards, changes in relevant regulations, or adjustments to our organisation\u2019s GCP. Our MD is responsible for ensuring that our compliance with this Green Claims Policy is reviewed quarterly. Any non-compliance with this policy will be brought to the attention of the Team, who will decide on further actions and whether the matter should be escalated further.<\/p>

Any concerns about compliance which cannot be assessed by the MD will be referred to The Anti Greenwash Charter for independent review.<\/p>

Before entering into new partnerships with third parties, such as suppliers, we share our Green Claims Policy with them to encourage adoption of similar standards.<\/p>
