pero \u00bfsabe exactamente qu\u00e9 son y qu\u00e9 tan da\u00f1inos pueden ser para usted y el medio ambiente?<\/p>\n<p>Los COV (o Compuestos Org\u00e1nicos Vol\u00e1tiles, por su nombre completo) son sustancias que hierven o liberan vapor a bajas temperaturas. En el sector de la pintura, se a\u00f1aden productos sint\u00e9ticos a algunas pinturas para facilitar su secado, vaporizando los l\u00edquidos de la pintura para obtener un acabado endurecido en el menor tiempo posible. Es fundamental destacar su respeto por el medio ambiente y la salud en comparaci\u00f3n con las pinturas petroqu\u00edmicas. <\/p>\n<p>El secado se produce por oxidaci\u00f3n (exposici\u00f3n a la luz ultravioleta y al ox\u00edgeno), por lo que no necesitamos disolventes. Sin disolventes, no hay COV. Muchas grandes marcas de pintura ofrecen pinturas a base de agua para exteriores. Sin embargo, no se deje enga\u00f1ar: estas pinturas no son a base de agua. Se pueden diluir con la pintura gracias a la adici\u00f3n de emulsionantes. Este proceso y sus ingredientes no tienen nada de natural. Aunque esto pueda significar una reducci\u00f3n de COV en estas pinturas, los &#8220;nuevos&#8221; qu\u00edmicos a\u00f1adidos para lograrlo son a veces incluso peores.
