Fabricaci\u00f3n de pintura de aceite de linaza<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Tradicionalmente, los artistas y decoradores elaboraban su propia pintura mezclando una pasta de pigmentos seleccionados con una base de aceite. Para ello, utilizaban herramientas manuales sencillas: un molinillo (una herramienta de mango corto para moler pigmentos) y una placa. Comenzaban moliendo los pigmentos en polvo con un poco de aceite y luego a\u00f1ad\u00edan m\u00e1s aceite a medida que avanzaban hasta obtener la consistencia adecuada. Los artistas sol\u00edan usar menos aceite en sus pinturas, mientras que los pintores de casas usaban m\u00e1s para crear una pintura m\u00e1s l\u00edquida, m\u00e1s adecuada para pintar sobre superficies extensas. <\/p>

Este m\u00e9todo tradicional de mezcla manual no solo requer\u00eda mucho tiempo y trabajo, sino que tambi\u00e9n era bastante dif\u00edcil obtener un resultado consistente en cada aplicaci\u00f3n. Para garantizar la durabilidad de la pintura, es esencial que el aceite de linaza y los pigmentos est\u00e9n completamente fusionados. Si la pintura no se mezcla correctamente, se matear\u00e1 mucho m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido, lo que aumentar\u00e1 la necesidad de mantenimiento. <\/p>

Para lograr los mejores resultados, el proceso de fabricaci\u00f3n de Brouns & Co. utiliza mezcladores de columna y grandes barriles. La pintura mezclada en estos barriles se transfiere a un molino de tres rodillos. Aqu\u00ed, la pintura, que en esta etapa tiene una consistencia m\u00e1s pastosa, pasa por los rodillos entre tres y cinco veces, dependiendo del tama\u00f1o del grano de los pigmentos utilizados. Este proceso crea una consistencia perfectamente homog\u00e9nea, que constituye la base de los colores de pintura resultantes. <\/p>

Sin embargo, es importante tener en cuenta que la mezcla debe mantenerse a temperatura ambiente. La fricci\u00f3n del metal con el metal genera un calor considerable, y si el aceite se calienta demasiado, se diluir\u00e1, lo que dificulta la adhesi\u00f3n del pigmento. Esto significa que el proceso de molienda requiere medidas adicionales para mantener el aceite y la pasta a la temperatura adecuada. Esto se logra mediante el uso de rodillos con un flujo constante de agua fr\u00eda en su interior. <\/p>

Dejando de lado las m\u00e1quinas modernas y las t\u00e9cnicas de enfriamiento adicionales, en principio, el m\u00e9todo que utilizamos hoy para moler pigmento y convertirlo en aceite hervido tiene cientos de a\u00f1os. Con esto en mente, se puede empezar a comprender por qu\u00e9 la pintura de linaza es m\u00e1s cara de producir que los m\u00e9todos m\u00e1s sencillos utilizados para producir pintura pl\u00e1stica moderna. Sin embargo, gran parte de la diferencia de costo se compensa con la excelente cobertura de la pintura de linaza, ya que un litro de pintura de linaza rinde mucho m\u00e1s que la pintura pl\u00e1stica moderna. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We conduct quarterly internal audits of our marketing and communications content to ensure references are accurate and up to date. Additionally, we undertake an annual review of all ‘static’ content\u2014such as website pages and key documents\u2014to ensure compliance with any updates to the Charter’s standards, changes in relevant regulations, or adjustments to our organisation\u2019s GCP. This ensures our communications remain aligned with the latest expectations for
transparency and responsibility. By incorporating both regular audits and an annual comprehensive review, we ensure our content consistently reflects the highest standards of responsible marketing and communications.<\/p>

Our MD is responsible for ensuring that our compliance with this Green Claims Policy is reviewed quarterly. Any non-compliance with this policy will be brought to the attention of the Team, who will decide on further actions and whether the matter should be escalated further.<\/p>

Any concerns about compliance which cannot be assessed by the MD will be referred to The Anti Greenwash Charter for independent review.<\/p>

Before entering into new partnerships with third parties, such as suppliers, we share our Green Claims Policy with them to encourage adoption of similar standards.<\/p>
