Ein 2021 ver\u00f6ffentlichter Bericht von Earth Action zeigte, welches Ausma\u00df Plastikfarbabf\u00e4lle zu einem Problem f\u00fcr die Umwelt werden. Der Bericht kam zu dem Schluss, dass Plastikfarbe die gr\u00f6\u00dfte Quelle f\u00fcr den Eintrag von Mikroplastik in Gew\u00e4sser und Ozeane ist. <\/p>\n

Wenn Sie schon einmal Kunststofffarbe von einer Oberfl\u00e4che entfernt haben, wissen Sie, dass die dabei entstehenden Farbflocken, wenn sie nicht zusammengefegt werden, nicht zerfallen. Liegend \u00fcberdauern sie Monate und wahrscheinlich Jahre, ohne sich zu zersetzen. Daher ist es sehr wichtig, nach dem Entfernen der Kunststofffarbe aufzur\u00e4umen und die Farbe in S\u00e4cke zu packen, damit die Flocken so weit wie m\u00f6glich eingeschlossen bleiben und nicht in Gew\u00e4sser und die Umwelt gelangen. <\/p>\n

Angesichts der Menge an Kunststofffarbe, die im sp\u00e4ten 20. und 21. Jahrhundert verwendet wurde, wird dies zu einem immer gr\u00f6\u00dferen Problem. Wir k\u00f6nnen aus der Vergangenheit lernen, und der Umstieg auf alternative Farben auf Pflanzenbasis kann zur L\u00f6sung des Problems beitragen. Lein\u00f6lfarbe verringert nicht nur die Umweltprobleme, sondern verl\u00e4ngert auch die Lebensdauer von Holz, da sie keine Feuchtigkeit speichert und es somit trocken und frei von F\u00e4ulnis h\u00e4lt. <\/p>\n

Die Zusammensetzung der Leinsamenfarbe von Brouns & Co unterscheidet sich von der der historischen Leinsamenfarbe. Die historische Farbe enthielt Blei. Die moderne Formulierung enth\u00e4lt jedoch Zinkoxid als Schimmelhemmer.
